Public-Key Cryptography (PKC)
Public-key cryptography (PKC) is a cryptographic system that utilizes alphanumeric keys, working in pairs: public keys, which can be shared with others, and private keys, known only by their owner. Public keys are used for receiving cryptocurrencies on the blockchain, while the corresponding private key is used for sending cryptocurrencies. Cryptographic algorithms generate these keys, which enable one-way functions. Public-key cryptography is also known as asymmetric cryptography.
