Proof of Importance (PoI)

Proof of Importance (PoI) is an innovative consensus algorithm developed by the NEM blockchain protocol, derived from Proof of Stake (PoS). PoI allows a broad range of users to participate in block generation and receive tokenized rewards based on their contribution score. This mechanism prevents asset hoarding and encourages active participation in the ecosystem.
