The oracle problem refers to the challenge of incorporating external data into isolated blockchain systems. By default, blockchain protocols operate in an isolated manner and face difficulties in accessing and utilizing off-chain data required by smart contracts. The oracle problem arises when a blockchain network cannot efficiently obtain and process external data necessary for its proper operation.
