OpenSea is a widely-used peer-to-peer marketplace where users can buy, sell, and auction digital non-fungible tokens (NFTs). Similar to other platforms in its category, OpenSea enables users to explore and trade various types of digital art, including collectible digital versions of items like Nike basketball shoes and paintings of prominent crypto entrepreneurs such as Vitalik Buterin. While most NFT marketplaces accept payment in Ethereum’s native coin, ether (ETH), OpenSea follows the same convention.
