Nested Blockchain
A nested blockchain refers to a decentralized network that utilizes a main blockchain to establish parameters for a broader network, while actual transactions and operations occur on a web of interconnected secondary chains. These secondary chains operate at multiple levels, establishing a parent-child relationship where the parent chain delegates tasks to child chains and receives completed work in return. The main blockchain remains mostly inactive in network functions unless there is a need for dispute resolution. This hierarchical model distributes workload, reducing the processing burden on the mainchain and enhancing scalability.
