Inter-Chain Communication

Inter-chain communication, also known as cross-chain communication, is a process that enables communication between distinct blockchain networks, facilitating mutual interaction and value exchange. This often involves the exchange of tokens and cryptocurrency assets. Cross-chain and inter-chain communication represent key technologies that underpin blockchain network interoperability. Although inter-chain communication currently faces some inefficiencies, as blockchain adoption expands, experts anticipate the emergence of more efficient data exchange methods. This may eventually enable comprehensive data sharing capabilities among hundreds or even thousands of interconnected blockchains.
