Extended Public Key (XPUB)

An extended public key (XPUB) is another component of a master key pair used in hierarchical-deterministic (HD) wallets. In conjunction with the extended private key, it enables the generation of new cryptographic key pairs or addresses for each crypto transaction initiated in the HD wallet. The extended public key is used to derive public keys associated with specific addresses in the wallet hierarchy.
