Denial-of-Service (DoS) Attack

A Denial-of-Service (DoS) attack is a form of digital attack that aims to incapacitate a network by overwhelming it with repeated requests. The purpose of a DoS attack is to maliciously disrupt normal traffic to a website or other internet property, causing a temporary crash of the underlying network and rendering it non-functional.
