Delisting
Delisting is the process of removing a cryptocurrency asset from an exchange due to the asset no longer satisfying the initial listing requirements established by the exchange. Delisting occurs for various reasons, including inadequate trading volume, network or smart contract instability, indications of fraudulent or risky activities, lack of protocol development, absence of communication between the project and its users, and other factors. Once delisted, the asset is no longer available for trading on the exchange. Generally, delisting is considered permanent, although there are rare instances where a project’s asset may be relisted.
