Within the Storj network, storage nodes play a crucial role in providing bandwidth and securely storing clients’ data in a decentralized manner. Anyone with a stable internet connection and surplus hard drive space and bandwidth can establish a storage node. Each month, node operators receive compensation in the form of STORJ tokens, valued in USD based on current market rates.
