Status Network Token (SNT)

The Status Network Token (SNT) serves as the native ERC-20 utility token of Status Network, an open-source messaging platform. It plays a vital role in the decentralized platform governance, allowing any Status community stakeholder to employ SNT for voting on network proposals. Each vote is represented by a separate decision token cloned from the committed SNT. This unique system ensures that a user’s voting power for a decision is determined by the amount of SNT they hold during the vote, without requiring any SNT to be spent for participation.
