Solana (SOL)

Solana is a blockchain network that incorporates smart contract functionality and aims to address scalability and throughput challenges faced by other Layer-1 blockchain networks. SOL serves as the native coin of the Solana network and is burned to pay for fees on the platform. Users of Solana can also stake SOL to become blockchain nodes, and there are plans to involve SOL in future Solana platform governance.
