Range (Technical Formation)
In the realm of technical charting and analysis, the concept of “range” signifies a particular price range in which the value of an asset oscillates between defined levels of support and resistance within a specified timeframe. Assets that exhibit a range-bound behavior typically demonstrate a pattern of bouncing between an upper resistance price, where the asset fails to break through, and a lower support price, which the asset remains above. Additionally, technical indicators such as the relative strength index (RSI) can also move within a designated range.
