Proof of Coverage (PoC)

Proof of Coverage (PoC) is a consensus mechanism utilized by the Helium Network. As a variation of Proof of Work (PoW), PoC combines mining with the role of wireless internet access points for Internet of Things (IoT) devices, known as Hotspots. PoC incorporates mechanisms to track node participation and the continued provision of services by Hotspots.
