Non-custodial and custodial are classifications used to describe the services provided by financial institutions for managing securities or other assets, including cryptocurrencies. In the blockchain industry, non-custodial means that users have complete control over their cryptocurrencies and are responsible for managing their own private keys, which are necessary for executing transactions and managing assets.
