Network Congestion
Network congestion occurs when the speed or quality of a network’s service is compromised due to an overwhelming volume of transactions. It can happen when a network experiences an unexpected surge in activity that surpasses its designed capacity or as a result of malicious attacks such as Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks.
