Maximum Supply

Maximum supply denotes the upper limit of coins or tokens that can ever be in existence for a particular cryptocurrency or token from its inception to its end. This concept can be likened to fully diluted shares in traditional stock markets. It is important to distinguish maximum supply from circulating supply, which pertains to the number of tokens actively circulating in the market, and total supply, which encompasses all tokens created, excluding any tokens that have been burned or destroyed.
