Litecoin (LTC)

Litecoin (LTC) is a cryptocurrency introduced in 2011 by Charlie Lee. It was created by forking Bitcoin’s code and retains many similarities to Bitcoin while being optimized for lower-cost transactions. Litecoin is often considered the first altcoin and was the second cryptocurrency to gain widespread acceptance on digital currency exchanges and in the broader economy.
