Golden Cross

A golden cross is a positive technical trading indication that occurs when the 50-day moving average exceeds the 200-day moving average, usually leading to a price rally. It differs from the bearish trading signal known as the death cross. Golden crosses can also be observed on shorter time frames, like the 5-day and 15-day averages, although longer periods typically provide stronger and more reliable signals.
