Ethereum Request for Comment (ERC)
Ethereum Request for Comment (ERC) refers to a set of technical documentation used by Ethereum smart contract developers to define standardized rules for the implementation of tokens on the Ethereum blockchain. ERC token standards enable token interoperability within the Ethereum network, allowing users to send and receive various types of tokens between Ethereum addresses. Different ERC tokenization standards exist, including ERC-1155 and ERC-721, with ERC-20 being the most widely adopted and common standard.
