Ethereum Dominance (ETHD)

Ethereum dominance (ETHD) is a metric that measures the market capitalization of ether (ETH), the second-largest cryptocurrency, relative to the total market capitalization of all other cryptocurrencies combined. ETHD is often seen as having a correlation with the performance of bitcoin (BTC) and alternative cryptocurrencies, commonly known as altcoins. Typically, when ETHD increases, it signifies an “alt season” where the value of most other cryptocurrencies tends to rise alongside Ethereum.
