ERC-223 Tokenization Standard
Introduced in 2017, ERC-223 is a tokenization standard developed to address certain inefficiencies associated with the ERC-20 standard on the Ethereum blockchain. Although it was proposed for the Ethereum Classic blockchain, widespread implementation has not been achieved due to various reasons. Notable features of ERC-223 include enhancements aimed at preventing token losses during transfers, which can occur with ERC-20 tokens.
