Dust
Dust, in the context of blockchain networks, pertains to a very small fraction of a cryptocurrency or token. It represents an incidental aspect that is prevalent in many blockchain networks. Within the Bitcoin protocol, dust can range from a few satoshis (sats) to several hundred satoshis, with each satoshi being the smallest divisible unit of bitcoin (BTC). Dust is essentially a residue generated through trading and transacting with cryptocurrencies, and it possesses such minuscule denominations that it holds little to no significant monetary value.
