Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG)
A Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) is a variant of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT) that differs from traditional blockchains. Instead of grouping transactions into blocks and following a linear order, a DAG interconnects individual transactions without the need for blocks. In a DAG, transactions validate each other, eliminating the need for separate block validation. All participants in a DAG network serve as both miners and validators, resulting in lower transaction fees compared to public blockchain networks.
