Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS)
Delegated Proof of Stake (DPoS) is a consensus mechanism that incentivizes users to verify network data and maintain system security by staking collateral. DPoS differs from Proof of Stake (PoS) through its voting and delegation structure. Individuals have the ability to assign their stake to a specific node, referred to as a delegate, and participate in voting for nodes to acquire the privilege of validating blocks. Validators who are elected receive rewards for confirming transactions, and these rewards are distributed among the users who entrusted their stake to them.
