Dark Web
The term “dark web” is used to describe a section of the internet deliberately hidden from traditional search engines, making it accessible only through specialized software. Tor and I2P are frequently employed web browsers to navigate the dark web, employing masked IP addresses to preserve the anonymity of users and site owners. The dark web is commonly associated with cybercrime and unlawful activities. It constitutes a small portion of the broader deep web, which also remains unindexed by conventional search engines but is not typically associated with illicit practices.
