Close
The close, also known as the closing price, is one of the four key data points utilized in day trading on the stock market. The other three are referred to as low, high, and open, collectively known as OHLC. Traditionally, stock market trading occurred during regular market hours, usually between 9 am and 4 pm local time, with the markets closed on weekends. Cryptocurrency markets, on the other hand, operate 24/7. While there is no theoretical closing price for crypto assets, most charting platforms include OHLC to indicate the regular stock market’s closing time each day.
