Candlestick Wick
The candlestick wick, known as the shadow, is the line found on a Japanese candlestick that exposes the price movements between the opening and closing prices. Wicks indicate the highest and lowest prices attained by an asset within a given time frame, such as minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, or years. Together with the candlestick body, which represents price range and market sentiment, candlestick wicks offer valuable insights for conducting technical and fundamental analysis.
