BNB Beacon Chain

Previously named Binance Chain (BC), BNB Beacon Chain was the original blockchain protocol created by the Binance cryptocurrency exchange. It is designed to support the BEP-2 tokenization standard, allowing for the seamless transfer of BEP-2 assets among BNB Beacon Chain addresses. BNB Beacon Chain is part of the BNB Chain, a collective term for the two blockchain protocols developed by Binance. The other protocol is BNB Smart Chain, formerly known as Binance Smart Chain (BSC). The BNB Chain enables interoperability, facilitates asset transfers between different chains, and ensures the efficient functioning of Binance’s products and services.
