Block space refers to the available storage capacity within a particular block of a blockchain, usually measured in megabytes (MB). The amount of block space is determined by the initial size of the block, which can vary greatly, ranging from 1 to 32MB or even more. Additionally, the level of block space utilization also affects the available capacity. When block space is insufficient, it can lead to increased transaction fees and delays in processing transactions.
