Beta Version (Software Release)
A beta version is a developmental version of a software product that is still undergoing refinement. Typically, a beta version is released to a select group of external users outside the company for beta testing. Feedback from this testing helps developers identify and resolve product issues, and improve the user experience (UX). In the realm of blockchain networks, a beta version, such as a testnet or devnet, refers to an initial iteration of the network that undergoes multiple phases of development and improvement before reaching its final form for public release. During these stages, the beta version is refined and enhanced to ensure the optimal functioning and reliability of the blockchain protocol prior to its official launch.
