Augmented Reality (AR)
Augmented reality (AR) is an interactive experience that enhances real-world objects with computer-generated perceptual information, using sensory mechanisms like sound, touch, smell, and sight. AR systems combine virtual and real environments, enable real-time interaction, and accurately register virtual and real objects in a 3D space. In contrast to virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR) does not substitute the user’s real-world environment but rather enriches or modifies their perception of the world and their interactions within it.
