Alpha Version (Software Release)
The alpha version is a significant milestone within the software release lifecycle, marking an early stage in the journey towards a finalized production version. This cycle typically commences with the pre-alpha release, followed by alpha, beta, release candidate (gamma and delta), release to manufacturing (RTM), general availability (GA), and finally the production or live release, in sequential order. Similar to the beta version, the alpha version represents an initial implementation of software or a blockchain network, which requires subsequent stages of development before reaching the production version.
